Banking

World of Warcraft - You thought banking at the Halifax was cool but wait until you try the banks in WoW. You can just dump all of your stuff in there and keep it safe until you next need it.

Not that I am particularly complaining as I do have an account with Halifax, although there is one thing wrong with their accounts. You can only store money not items. In WoW it works the other way round – you cannot store money but you can store items. Strange the way these things work out.

Banking in WoW works universally so you can go into any branch (they are located in the six major cities and in some major towns too) and get access your stuff. Although the first time you go in there you will need to talk to an NPC and get them to open you an account. It is free though so no worries there.

Once you open up your account you will have an extra 24 slots to dump stuff in such as that item for the quest that you never did finish but will do, eventually. It is nice and safe and plus it won’t get damaged as the stuff you are carrying will if you die and resurrect in the graveyard.

Of course 24 may not be enough to store all the junk you build up over your time in Azeroth. That is why you can buy five extra bag slots. The first being the cheapest but as you buy more they become progressively more expensive.

In each of these slots you can place a bag (did you guess that? ;) So you also need a bag. This means if you buy a slot and only have a 6 pocket bag you will only get 6 extra slots. But if you happen to be a master tailor who can make 16 slot bags then you should have a ton of storage space.

In conclusion, banks are great for storing stuff you don’t currently need or saving items or materials for your friends if you don’t want to carry them. They also have plenty of space as potentially they can hold 120 things (24 + 5 bag slots with 16 pockets each – as I said, potentially).
