Civilization II
The original civilization laid down the bench mark for all world conquering games. Even in great games such as Conquest of the New World can the ground rules which Civilization set be seen.
Civilization 2 offers little in the way of new features. Although it does offer a Windows friendly interface and menu system, despite the fact that open and save boxes now show their age.
Civilization 2 is basically a newer version of Civilization rather than a 2nd game. The game play remains much the same but the graphics and videos are new and improved. The squares of the original Civilization are gone and replaced with some much better graphics. Your council too, now speaks in full video glory.
Overall a good game but nothing startling new from Civilization except the graphics.
